Product Overview
The 4mm Hexagon Nut is made from high grade steel and is manufactured using high precision techniques which help to achieve a good surface finish as well as good product consistency. The high dimensional stability of the nut ensures its perfect fit in the required assembly. The steel material used for the nut has good mechanical properties like tensile strength, hardness and wear resistance which ensures a long-life span for the part. The nut is a property class 6 nut and possesses a high strength to weight ratio. It is also zinc electroplated to enhance its corrosion resistance. In zinc electroplating a thin coating of zinc metal is electrodeposited onto the surface of the part. This coating forms a physical barrier that prevents rust from reaching the underlying metal surface.
