Lock nuts are also frequently used to secure gears, belt pulleys and other machine components. This lock nut is made from high grade steel and is manufactured using high precision techniques which help to achieve a good surface finish as well as good product consistency. The high dimensional stability of the nut ensures its perfect fit in the required assembly. The steel material used for the nut has good mechanical properties like tensile strength, hardness and wear resistance which ensures a long-life span for the part. This M20 size threaded lock nut possesses a high strength to weight ratio. This part is can be used in various assemblies of GE's Molecular Imaging and Nuclear Medicine Systems. The material will be shipped in suitable packaging to give adequate protection during transit.
