Product Overview
The TDI Power Supply with CAN Board Interface for RAD system is being used to power the Apollo digital detectors in an X-ray system. The power supply system is RoHS compliant and complies to the IEC 3rd edition safety and regulatory requirements. The detector power supply systems is designed as a platform component for all GEHC Digital X-ray diagnosis systems as follows, Digital Radiographic System, Full Field Digital Mammography System and Digital Vascular System. The DPS is also designed as a platform power supply to perform in accordance with the following governmental, safety, and regulatory standards. The power supply is evaluated to the referenced UL, CSA and IEC standards by Nationally Recognized Test Laboratory (NRTL) to reflect GE Healthcare end use. The unit also bears the certification label of the NRTL. The system has the ability to read out the output voltage by USB or CANopen communication, then determines whether the output voltages needs to be trimmed to meet the system requirement. The power supply unit is self-cooled with or without an internal fan so that the design meets the temperatures and provides reliability. As long as the AC power is present, the fan speed increases with increased internal temperature. Fan speed should be controlled by internal temperature only and should run no faster than needed.
