Product Overview

The MAC2 000 Main Board with Embedded Wireless Socket is used in diagnostic ECG and many other medical applications. The MAC 2000 is an electrical subsystem containing external power supply, CPU, battery, buzzers, controllers, internal modem, level translator, processors, USB interface, transceiver, Ethernet interface, motor interface, sensor interface, voltage and temperature monitors and other components. The AC/DC power supply is connected to the main board through a cable assembly. There is a wireless socket for the internal modem located on the main board. The CPU controls the buzzer which provides a sound indication or alarm under various conditions of operation of MAC 2000. The LAN8710A supports communication with an Ethernet MAC via a standard MII (IEEE 802.3u)/RMII interface. PSoC5 – CY8C5387 is used in MAC 2000 as a local SoC controller for establishing interface for motor driver, thermal print head, RTC, keysheet and acts as the power manager and battery monitor. PSoC DAC is used for generating a reference voltage and PWM for generating a STEP signal to the motor driver. The electrical subsystem offers proven diagnostic support enabling clinicians to make fast and accurate diagnoses.
