Product Overview
The Aeroquip O-ring Flat Rubber in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is used in FieldSpare Kit-Platform 1.5T, cryocooler replacement gaskets, FieldSpare Kit–LCC and other medical equipments as applicable. The O-rings are seated in a groove and compressed between two or more parts thereby creating a seal at the interface. A common cause of leakage is absence or damaged O-ring. It is the most common type of seal used in a wide range of static or dynamic applications. The O-rings are generally made up of rubber due to which it returns to its original shape on compression. It is circular in shape, light weight, compact and easily portable. It is used to prevent the fluid or air from escaping when it is compressed between two surfaces. It offers excellent sealing and mechanical properties compared to other elastomers. It has good resistance to a range of fluids, thus makes it preferable for the places where the ordinary rubber cannot be used due to its reactivity with fuel and oil.
