This 5 ml syringe is a simple reciprocating pump consisting of a plunger that fits tightly within a cylindrical tube called a barrel. The plunger can be linearly pulled and pushed along the inside of the tube, allowing the syringe to take in and expel liquid or gas through a discharge orifice at the frontend of the tube. This assembly has borosilicate glass body, Polytetrafluoroethylene Plungger, Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene piston and 1/4-28 UNF 2A threaded metalic needle adaptor. The Borosilicate glass syringe can withstand heat changes better, offers corrosion resistance, it is ultra-hygienic and non toxic and can be cleaned easily by disassembling the parts. The Plunger of this syringe can be operated a speed of 5mm/sec and can be reused. This syringe can be used with GE's PET Radiopharmacy System. This product will be shipped with proper packaging with adequate protection during transit.
