Heart failure is a clinical syndrome which is caused by an abnormality of heart and recognized by a characteristic pattern of renal, haemodynamic, neural and hormonal responses After completing this course, the participants will be able to • Understand the European Society of Cardiology guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of acute chronic heart failure; and • Understand the AHA/ACC guidelines for the clinical diagnosis and management of patients with heart failure.
