Product Overview

Structural heart diseases is either caused by degeneration of valves and vessels of heart, or they can be congenital in nature. By the end of this program, the participant should be able to:  1. Understand the guidelines for management of congenital heart disease, acute coronary syndrome / non-ST elevation MI and ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) in Indian population; 2. Understand clinical practice guidelines of European Society of cardiology (ESC) and European Association for Cardio-thoracic Surgery (EACTS) with the level of evidence and classes of recommendation for cardiovascular disease (CAD); 3. Apply the World Health Organization recommendations to provide guidance on which preventive action to initiate, and the degree of intensity for cardiac heart disease (CHD) and cerebrovascular disease (CVD); and 4. Understand the guidelines of AHA/ACC for the Clinical diagnosis and management of patients with valvular heart disease (VHD).
