Product Overview

One of the most important part of operating an X-ray machine is the positioning of the patient so that the technologist can obtain a clinically relevant radiograph for the physician’s interpretation. This course helps you evaluate the basic human anatomy, such as the upper limb, lower limb, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, soft tissues, skull (facial and dental), mammary glands, and spine. It describes how to position these parts of anatomy and apply the radiographic projections to them. Finally, this course explains how to apply the knowledge on radiographic positions to obtain appropriate radiographs. This is the part 1 of this course. After completing this course, you will be able to • Evaluate basic human anatomy and position its parts to apply radiographic projections. • Apply the information on radiographic positions to obtain appropriate radiographs.
