Product Overview
The EPI Positioner is a kind of foam that is used in phantom cart kit which comes under the modality of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). Polyethylene foam is a strong, resilient closed-cell foam. Ideally suited as the material or part of a material required in products requiring a shock absorbing, vibration dampening, insulation, barrier or buoyancy component, and as a material for cushioning products in packaging applications. Polyethylene foam's excellent buoyancy allows it to be used in flotation equipment, and other nautical products. Advances in gradient and digital data acquisition technology have made it possible to obtain individual MRI slices in the time frame of 50-100 msec, thus minimizing the effects of patient motion. Generically, this acquisition mode is known as Echo-Planar Imaging (EPI). The GE product is an Innovation which fits well into versatile customer needs. The part is diligently designed for superior performance and reliability. It is securely packed inside a high quality packing box to avoid physical damage during transit and labeled with details about the product, Quality Assurance (QA) seal and shipment details.
